(E) Exercise - Cuts

If you have a monologue play that is turning into something that needs a chorus (which Erica found with "Love, Candy"...or if you are brave enough to put your play into other people's hands...you can try giving your play to friends and colleagues and asking them to suggest cuts or a different way of breaking up lines.

Some common things to cut for:
Repetition
Stated Emotion
Filler words ("just" etc...)
