Having An Agenda

Talked the other day about the workshop process for a play. A few of the more salient points:
(1) Go into a workshop with things you are looking for. USE the workshop to accomplish what YOU want to see accomplished on your draft.
(2) If you don't have an agenda for your play, someone else in the room will.
(3) You want the actor who can treat each new draft as "final," right up until they get the next draft.
