There was a playwrights panel at the Momentum Festival today. One of the questions asked was "So we have a lot of playwrights in the room thinking about moving to New York. What advice would you give to them?"
The response: "Move to Chicago."
Not from one playwright. From three. Whose collected hardware included Tonys, Emmys, and Oscars.
Huh. Okay. So that's something to think about. Especially with me asking the universe for signs about the course life should take from here on out. That one's, like, neon and flashing, right?

Hmm... Interesting comments from the panel. I think, however, that they may apply to you least of all since you have already lived in Chicago. Maybe you should try London or Beijing or a small town?
