On Professional Development, Part One

Daniel Alexander Jones says that professional development begins with an interrogation of WHAT YOU WANT from the business of theater and playwriting. That Professional Development is always PERSONAL.

Questions to ask
Where do you want to be in 5 years?
What kind of audiences do you want to be reaching?
What kind of communities do you want to be working with?
What stories do you want to tell?
What do you want to talk about?
How do you want to art to live in your life? Do you want a family, kids? Do you want to have another profession as well?
What do you want your work TO DO in the world?

I feel like, right now, I have answers to all but the last one.
