(2) one-paragraph bio
(3) twenty-five word bio
(4) an updated resume
(5) a business card
(6) an updated website
(7) an artist's statement
(8) Synopsis of your plays (short -- a few lines -- about basic plot, structure, style, character breakdown -- something true, accurate, and that can then be related to other people. Keep it simple).
Know what the tangible things are that you want to build to. What are the kinds of theatres you want to work with? What are examples of those theatres? Who wants to see work that does what?
Begin to articulate what you do as an artist. Avoid jargon. Be direct. Be able to accurately represent yourself and your work.
