Character Deepening
Part One
1) Write down a profession (like baker, contractor, lawyer)
2) Write down five ways that your character is that profession (i.e. my character is a contracter because...x, because....y, because...z)

Part Two
1) Write down five public places.
2) Write down a secret that your character carries to each of those places.

Theme
Write down five motifs that are appearing in your play, just as a reminder to yourself.
