Erik said this, and of course I thought immediately about conversations with Michael Bigelow Dixon, with Dietz. These are three giants in the field of new plays, whose work and ideas are often in direct opposition. I love it -- the trick is figuring out how to triangulate between these ideas, to find my own ground.
