1) Think of the SECRETS your character has.
2) Think of a house -- it doesn't have to be a house you've ever seen before. It is the house of your character's mind and heart. Your character is standing somewhere in the house. Where is that?
3) Your character goes to the place where his or her first secret is kept; where is that? Is it contained in an object, a corner, a closet, in plain sight?
4) The second secret, same thing.
5) The third secret, same thing.
6) The character goes to a part of the house he or she has never visited. Opens a door (what kind of door?), finds an object. That object is or represents a secret that does not belong to him or her. Whose secret is it? What is it? Your character takes the secret, and does something with it. What does he or she do?
7) Your character leaves the house now, and goes somewhere else. Where does he or she go? What does she do when she gets there? What object does she find?
8) Your character knows the house is haunted. Who or what haunts the house?
9) Your character takes something as a talisman. Why does your character need a talisman?
10) What does your character do with the talisman?
