This parallels Noh drama, and the structure of jo-ha-kyu
Says Ehn:
An imaginative story -- is it the ideal, or the easiest thing? If writing your story is getting to be a chore, make it the last thing you do.
If you're merely filfilling a story, how can you put energy into the process for yourself? How can you stay energized? If you aren't energized, your story won't be.
